Offred
Earlier this year, the streaming service Hulu launched Offred, based on Margaret Atwood’s novel The Handmaid’s Tale. While the film was praised for its dark visual style and characters, some viewers feel that the series doesn’t thoroughly sanitize the cruelty of the novel.

In Gilead, the government takes away women’s rights to money and jobs. They also freeze the bank accounts of all females, and the streets are closed for security reasons.

Captain America, as a concept, has been around for 60 years. A Jewish team wrote the earliest comic book of comic book artists Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. These creators were concerned with the US’s lack of involvement in World War II. They felt that the country had a moral duty to intervene.
